How can we best spread great ideas? - under the TED's catch phrase, 'Ideas worth spreading', approved organizers hold a TEDx events in their local communities. Inspired by TED's goal and mission, we design our events dependently under the TED rules and hold a place to share ideas freely. As one of them, 8 creative, passionate teenage TEDsters from each grade in MyungDuk Foreign Language High School have been working as TEDxYouth@MDFH since 2014. (Licensed 2015. October. Licensee: Alice Cho). Every year, we renew our license, and aim to present a wonderful event that would give refreshing shock to our classmates int MDFH and other students in our local community. To spread TED's value and its goal, we are actively working in various ways; such as writing a research essay, practicing our own speeches and participating in other TED events.
'Ideas worth spreading!' 가치 있는 아이디어의 공유라는 테드의 목적 아래 전 세계에는 수많은 개인 오거나이저들이 독립적인 테드 이벤트를 개최하며 활동하고 있습니다. 2014년 1월에 처음 개설된 명덕 외국어 고등학교 유일의 영어 발표 동아리 (English Presentation Club MDFH)는 2014년 6월 TED로부터 정식 License를 받아 TEDxYouth@MDFH라는 이름으로 활동하고 있습니다. 각 학년에서 누구보다 창의적이고, 열정적인 8명의 테드 스터(TEDster)들로 이루어진 이곳, TEDxYouth@MDFH에서는 매년 TED에게서 정식 허가를 받아 TEDx event를 개최하며, 기획에서 홍보, 경영까지 모두 부원들이 직접 총괄하고 있습니다. 또한 고등학생 테드스터로서, 청소년들에게 테드를 더욱 알리고, 테드의 가치에 대해 고민하는 과정에서 소논문, 미니 발표, 여러 테드 행사등에 적극적으로 참여하고 있습니다.
